Sharon, a native Californian, is best known for being New York City’s local destination planning expert helping meeting and event professionals achieve their goals. With nearly fifteen years of selling New York City’s destination event assets and service offerings to a balanced mix of local and inbound professional meeting and event planners, Sharon’s tools, understanding and experience help planners navigate through NYC’s extensive event service offerings.
In 2009, after heading the Convention Services and Visitor Information teams at NYC & Company, Sharon co-founded VenueBroker, a destination group event planning consulting agency. With years of experience recommending restaurants, venues, activities and transportation options; coordinating site inspections; and serving as a liaison to the city, VenueBroker has fast become the best partner and connection to New York City services.
We specialize in connecting inbound and local meeting and event planners/organizers and their groups with local New York City venues and vendors.
